The deal
Ovation lets friends record messages and dedicate songs that a runner hears during a race. It's free, it's in alpha, and it's offered as-is: things may break, and races may occasionally need to be re-created while we're testing.
Be a good squad
Only send recordings of your own voice, and nothing harassing, hateful, or unlawful. Runners can delete any message, and we can remove content or races that break these rules.
Music
Song dedications play through the runner's own streaming subscription (like Apple Music). Ovation never copies or stores the songs themselves.
Run safely
Audio during exercise is a distraction by design, so keep it at a volume where you can hear traffic and marshals, and follow your race's headphone rules. You're responsible for your own run.
